Rabbit Hunt.
The merge network was the first to introduce the rabbit hunt which allows players to see what would of happened if they had called. The way this works is when your opponent folds, you can choose to “rabbit hunt” you expose your cards but get to see what would have happened had you carried on in the hand.
Expose A Card.
Other features unique to Iron Duke include the “expose 1 card” feature. Which does exactly what it says on the tin, allows you to expose 1 of your 2 hold cards.
Accolades.
Player accolades is another one of Iron Duke's original software features. Players have accolades placed on their “avatar” if they have won or ranked high in tournaments. Snowmen are given to players lucky enough to win the famous “winter tournament” and a kangaroo is placed on the avatar of players winning Aussie Million satellites.
Smilies.
Players can send animations to other players at the Iron Duke tables through a series of chat short cuts. Type “Donkey” and a animation of a donkey will show up in the chat box. Other short cuts include typing the word “thumbsup” which shows a thumbsup to other players.
Deal It Twice.
Deal it twice is a perfect way to get the best possible value from all of your hands. If two players go “all-in” on the flop they have the option of “dealing it twice” if players take this option they have the turn and the river card dealt twice which minimises the risk of bad beats and adds additional value to profitable poker players.
This feature is only available at the Iron Duke real money cash tables.
Bad Beat Jackpot.
All sites on the merge network are linked to a bad beat jackpot. This jackpot rewards players who lose a hand at a bad beat cash table with large sums of money. To win the jackpot the rake must be above $0.50 and the loser of the hand must hold at least four of a kind sevens.
Player Tag.
Iron Duke allows players to “tag” others courtesy of merge gaming network. This allows you to keep track on the quality of the opposition as well as taking notes on players and how well/badly they play.
