Iron Duke Games
Poker and Casino Games
After you download Iron Duke Poker, you will find that there are a number of games available in the poker client. Along with the standard poker games on offer, there are also a handful of other games hanging around if you search around the tabs a little.
Here is a brief overview of all of the games available at Iron Duke.
Poker games.
As you should expect, Iron Duke offers all of the best poker variants to their players.
Standard Poker games.
- Texas Hold'em
- Omaha
- Stud
In addition to these games, you can also find a few extra ones that are a little less popular, but can be a lot of fun all the same.
Other Poker games.
- H.O.R.S.E
- Razz
- Five card Stud.
The games as you would expect are far less popular than the top 3, but they do occasionally see some traffic. At the top you have Texas Hold'em, with Omaha and Stud following after it.
HORSE is an increasingly popular games that incorporates a number of different games into one tournament. These demand a high level of skill and ability if you want to be successful in these tournaments, which is why they are becoming increasingly popular amongst new and veteran players alike.
Casino games.
As well as having a tasty array of poker games on offer, you will also find that Iron Duke plays host to casino games as well. Even though you are not able to win money from casino games over the long run, they do provide a lot of entertainment if you ever fancy a break from the game of Poker.
The casino games that can be played at Iron Duke are:
- Blackjack
- Roulette
- Caribbean Stud
The Blackjack tables are usually the most popular amongst gamblers, but the Roulette tables also receive a fair amount of action from time to time. My personal favorite is Roulette, but the strategy factor in Blackjack means that you can reduce the House's edge by a significant amount if you play your cards right.
Backgammon.
Even with the poker and casino games, Iron Duke manages to squeeze in the game of Backgammon into the software.
Many professional poker players have dabbled in backgammon at some point, with many actually migrating from being professional backgammon players to poker players. Backgammon carries the elements of skill and luck like poker does, and by playing with a sound strategy you can consistently win money from the game.
If I had to recommend a new game for you to try out, it would be backgammon. It is not the easiest game in the world to play, but there is always the possibility that you will be able to consistently win money from it later on down the line.
